Love my Hidden Hitch August 30, 2017

Not only does this hitch tuck in nicely behind the bumper cover, but it raises my tongue weight/trailer weight specs too!

Well built product October 14, 2016

Installation was straightforward. Quality of welds and powder coating was far superior to the hitch I just installed on wife's honda. The clearance with a bike rack in the receiver is more than sufficient for my needs. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed May 12, 2016
Reviewer: Darin S. from Portland, OR United States
i've been wanting a hitch for a while and was trying to decide between this hitch or a competing hitch from another company. The coupon code plus lower overall price sold me, and I'm completely happy with my decision!

Build quality and powder coat is high quality, and all of the bolts lined up with the frame. Installing the hitch took some work, around 3 hours, but I expected that going in. The directions for the installation could be more detailed, explaining which screws are used for what, and possibly using more photos. In addition, I ran into a problem where there was a riv-nut in the way of the hitch inside of the frame where it slides into. This wasn't mentioned in the instruction, and could cause some people to need additional help for the installation.

Overall, very happy to have a 2" hitch on our Westy!

Takes a good hit.... December 29, 2015
Reviewer: John Runberg from virginia beach, VA United States
Quick comment on the Hidden Hitch. We installed this on our 91 Carat in order to tow an old m416 military trailer and a uHaul if need be. As others have mentioned... easy installation and works well.

Just recently we had the misfortune of seeing what happens with it in an accident when we were rear-ended by a 2015 Subaru Outback. The hit was @ +/- 10mph square on to the hitch (no tow bar at the time). The Outback's front left bumper took the impact.

Result was a good square mark on the Outback but no visiable damage to their impact-absorbing bumper. On the Carat the hitch was pushed in 3/8 of an inch -- far enough that I can't get the pin in anymore.

Insurance inspection showed a straight frame but confirmed that the hitch is done for – too much risk of hidden weakness to fix and tow again.

All-in-all we're well satisfied and once we get the insurance check will be ordering a replacement.
